I never really thought much about bodysuits until I found this one. I’m obsessed with anything lace so It was hard to pass up. I know a lot of people find them uncomfortable, but it’s like a top that stays tucked in and smooth without the worry of it looking lumpy or riding up. That’s a win for me. I don’t know why it’s taken me until now to get one. For this post I’m going to show you guys how I styled it two ways rather than one since I love it so much.
Valentine’s Day is coming soon so I feel I should definitely include a romantic look. I’m not the person who goes too crazy for Valentine’s Day. Don’t get me wrong, I love chocolate and flowers. Restaurants just get so busy I’d rather just stay in and make a nice dinner or have a movie night with my husband. We always go for the clearance chocolate at grocery stores the next day though 🙂 Since the bodysuit is mostly lace, I think pairing it with solid colors is a simple way to make your outfit not look too busy. The blush skirt makes it more valentines day themed, but any light pastel color would be perfect.
I decided to dress it down for the second outfit. I wore some jeans and my favorite plaid shirt to make it more casual. I wouldn’t consider myself super tall, but it has been a challenge to find high waist jeans that go up to my actual waistline. If I did own a pair, I think it would make this outfit look even better. For a look with more toned down colors, I think a chambray button up shirt would go nicely.
Which look is your favorite? I hope you guys have a great week!
